GRANT PROCUREMENT MAY NOT BE "ROCKET SCIENCE" . . . BUT IT IS "MISSION CRITICAL"

With the large amounts of U.S. tax dollars being spent abroad, combined with the formation of Homeland Security, domestic spending has

suffered.  Allocation of funds for the continuation and improvement of health, human, community, and educational services has been drastically  reduced.

As a result, nonprofit organizations that provide such services are struggling to survive --

the competition for available funds through government and foundation grants is extraordinarily high. While grant procurement is not rocket science, it is mission critical to the survival of nonprofits. Through the use of grant consulting services on as-needed basis, these nonprofit organizations can tap into the expertise and background experience of professionals they could not ordinarily afford to retain full-time.

Penn Grant Consulting's (PGC) mission is to aid in the development and sustainability of the much-needed social services provided to our community and state by many of the Philadelphia-area nonprofit organizations. By providing affordable, personable, and professional grant-related services, PGC's hope is that organizations served will be better equipped to compete for government, foundation, and corporate grants.

Penn Grant Consulting services include identifying funding opportunities, aiding staff in grant applications, training staff in the procurement and management of grant awards, and program evaluations. PGC also provides services to organizations providing donations to nonprofits on the creation, development, accountability, and efficacy of grant awards.
